Resources: Related Organizations and Web Sites

Overview

How does usability relate to other disciplines in research, analysis, design and development? As interest in new techniques and approaches to design have sprung up, so too have communities and associations to support them. This left us with the question of how the UXPA relates to these other disciplines and organizations.

Our simple answer is that we are all part of the broad user experience community, with a shared interest in new ways of working, whether or not the use the term "usability." What is included in this section are resources that our members use and have suggested to be shared.

All of them share a journey and an evolution from a narrow definition of a discipline to a larger search for better ways to make things (products, services, systems) that work better for the people who experience them.

The vectors all point to the same place
