Position Description
The Precision Dialogue Marketing Research and Customer Experience (RCX) Manager will support the sales process and serve as a research and customer experience subject matter expert.  This senior position will primarily be responsible for supporting the sales process, including creating proposals, responding to RFPs, creating SOWs and presenting Precision Dialogue’s RCX capabilities and proposals as assigned.  This person will need to work with clients and prospects to help figure out their needs, come up with solutions that best fit those needs via a proposal, including the recommended methodology, sample size, timeline, costs, etc.  This person will also need to present proposals and communicate methodology, value add, and assist with closing the sale.  This person will also manage accounts and clients as assigned.  This will be a highly client-facing role, with ~25-50% travel.

This position reports directly to the Vice President, Research & Customer Experience.

Usability Analyst

Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation (MCRF) is the largest private medical research institute in Wisconsin. MCRF is the research division of Marshfield Clinic, an integrated multispecialty health care system with over 750 physicians and 50+ regional centers.  MCRF employs 25 doctoral-level scientists and over 150 scientific and technical support staff. MCRF research centers include Center for Clinical Research, National Farm Medicine Center, Epidemiology Research Center, Center for Human Genetics, and Biomedical Informatics Research Center. Research at MCRF is funded by a variety of federal agencies and other sources, including CDC, NIH, NIOSH, FDA, and private industry.

A major research focus of the Biomedical Informatics Research Center is the study and improvement of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) in the biomedical domain.  The Usability Analyst will be a member of the usability research team in BIRC.  Working with researchers and Information Systems (IS) staff, the analyst will design and execute a variety of HCI analyses.  The analyst will have primary responsibility for the collection, coding and analyses of usability. The Usability Analyst will also be involved in the collection and analysis of other cognitive data including interviews, focus groups, ethnographic studies, electronic surveys, and time-motion studies.

Required Education: Undergraduate or Masters degree in Psychology, Biomedical Informatics, Information Science, Cognitive Science or a related domain, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Interfacing with biomedical or healthcare computer user communities, preferred. Experience is cognitive science research, or usability testing a plus. Other social science research experience is a plus. Prefer experience with Windows, client/server systems, browser-based systems, and high-volume environments. Experience with, or ability to learn standard usability and cognitive analysis tools, such as Morae.

Bank of America's Online & Mobile Solutions User Experience team is seeking an experienced Usability Engineer to work with the Consumer and Small Business Banking Online & Mobile Solutions. Responsibilities include planning, executing and reporting out on user research. This position is for an experienced usability engineer to work on customer facing mobile and web sales and service experiences.

The UX Usability Engineer is responsible for creating research plans, executing research, summarizing and presenting findings to User Experience teammates, business partners and other stakeholders.

The right candidate must have experience across different types of quantitative and qualitative user research, including surveys, usability testing, contextual inquiry, card sorting, expert (heuristic) reviews, remote testing, etc. and be able to balance working on various projects on both the online and mobile client experience. The Usability Engineer will collaborate with interaction designers, visual designers, editorial and prototypers on the UX team to plan and execute user research that will ultimately inform design and ensure an intuitive customer experience.

Knowledge about best practices in design and usability, experience with online and mobile usability research, and experience with usability testing tools, techniques and methodologies is required. Strong moderation and facilitation skills required.

Usability Engineer candidates preferably has experience performing research for financial web sites as well as proficiency in user centered design and best practices in mobile and web. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills, and be able to effectively present the overall usability findings to teammates and business stakeholders.
