UPA 2007 submissions will be accepted starting on August 25th! Please be sure to submit your Tutorials, Workshops, Panels, Presentations and Experienced Practitioner Topics before the September 25th deadline.
We are planning to have an all-day Experienced Practitioner program
which you can find more about in this month's Voice. We look forward
to having more of you participate in this evolving program.
Your annual conference will be held at the Hilton Austin, located
in downtown Austin. It is convenient to many attractions such as
the Capital Building, Bob Bullock Texas Historical Museum and the
LBJ Presidential Library. Each room has a work desk with two phones
(each with 2 lines), voicemail, and a data port offering wireless
high-speed Internet service. This hotel has a business center, exercise
facilities, a swimming pool, and a full-service spa. For a virtual
tour, go to the Hilton website.
Look for information on Keynote, Closing, and Invited Speakers in
the next issue. For all the up-to-date news on UPA 2007, check out
the UPA 2007 Conference page. Should you have any questions about
the conference, the submissions, or assistance for non-native English
